The majority of this course will be focused on digital citizenship, basic keyboarding skills, and Google Applications. Project-based instruction, simple use of graphic design software, video editing, and coding will be introduced as time allows.
This course is designed for students who want to get better organized online and explore a variety of computer applications.

This course will focus on project-based instruction, the use of graphic design software, video editing, and coding.
Although not required, this course would be a good follow up to Intro to Tech Apps.
This class is a mixture of 7th and 8th graders who are highly motivated to create projects using a variety of computer applications.
In this course, students will focus on:
Digital Citizenship
Google Suite Projects
Animations and Games
Basic Coding
Keyboarding Skills (By the end of this course students should be able to type a minimum of 40 WPM with a 90% accuracy.
** For 7th graders who complete this course, it would be recommended that they explore a different elective in 8th grade. They could also take this course as a 6th grader, then take the 7th/8th grade course as an 8th grader, allowing them to explore another elective in 7th grade.
