The Ohio State End-of-Course Exams (EOC) are Ohio's State achievement tests for selected high school courses and are connected to Ohio's graduation requirement pathways. Students take the Ohio State End-of-Course Exams based on the high school courses they are enrolled in each school year. All students enrolled in courses associated with these End-of-Course exams are expected to take the EOC.
The Ohio State End-of-Course Exams are: Algebra, Geometry, English II, Biology, American History, and American Government.
Spring 2025
March 24th and 25th
LHS will be administering the ELA2 End of Course exam to the Class of 2027 during the state's first testing window.
Sophomore students who attend LHS will need to report to school (as normal) by 7:44 AM on the day of testing.
Sophomore students who attend Stanbery will need to report to school (as normal) by 7:44 AM on the day of testing regardless.
Online sophomores and others who have reduced schedules need to report on the day of testing by 7:44 AM regardless of what their normally scheduled days are.
It is important to try your best on this exam.
In order to graduate, the state of Ohio requires students to Show Competency by scoring at least a 684 on the ELA2 and the Algebra exams.
Please bring your fully charged Chromebook.
School will be operating on a two-hour delay schedule on both April 9th and 10th.
Sophomore students will be released to their first period classes once all testing sessions in the building are completed (approximately 9:44 AM).
Non testing students (freshmen, juniors, seniors) should report to school by 9:44 AM.
Spring 2025
April 7th, 8th, and 9th
LHS will be administering the Algebra, Geometry, American History, Government, and Biology End of Course exams during the state's second testing window.
On scheduled testing days, students who attend LHS will need to report to school (as normal) by 7:44 AM.
On scheduled testing days, students who attend Stanbery will need to report to school (as normal) by 7:44 AM.
Online students and others who have reduced schedules need to report on scheduled testing days by 7:44 AM regardless of what their normally scheduled days are.
Daily testing schedule is as follows:
April 7th - Algebra and American History
April 8th - Geometry and Government
April 9th - Biology and those Juniors needing a second attempt on Algebra
