School will operate in a blended model of in-school instruction, remote learning, and virtual instruction. We would be able to then increase social distancing to 6 feet as much as possible throughout the school day. Students will attend school 2 days each week. They will participate in remote learning 2 days each week and virtual learning on Mondays. Remote learning is student-directed learning while virtual learning is teacher-directed. This model may be used when Fairfield County is at a red level on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System or the district determines that the risk of attending school is too high to allow for the traditional model. We will work with the Fairfield County Health Department concerning the caseload specific to the District to make this decision.
Students will attend school following this schedule:
Attend school on Tuesday and Thursday (Regular 9 Period Day from 7:44 AM - 2:38 PM)
Attend virtually on Monday (From home, students will follow a schedule and meet virtually with teachers)
Attend remotely on Wednesday, and Friday (At home, students will complete activities and assignments)

Attendance will be taken and teachers will be providing instruction and important information during these sessions. Students should check Google Classroom and/or log into Zoom during the designated times.
Remote Learning Days are the days a student is at home and will not be meeting virtually or in-person with teachers. Students will be given assignments and activities to complete on these days. This work is not optional. Students should check Google Classroom for each of their classes for items to complete on these days. Log-ins, assignment completions and tasks required by the teacher will be used for tracking attendance on Remote Learning Days.
We will follow the standard A-F grading scale. Teacher grading practices and late work policies will be communicated by each teacher.
Attendance will be taken during all in-person learning days. On Monday, attendance will be taken during the assigned period for participation in the Virtual Zoom Meetings (see schedule). On remote days (at-home), assignments, log-ins and completion of activities will be used for attendance tracking.
Masks must be worn at all times. Any student requesting an exemption must provide approved documentation that meets the requirements .
