When do I have to wear my mask?
Masks need to be worn at all times in the building. It is also recommended that masks be worn outside the building when social distancing cannot be practiced. It is recommended that students wear a mask when they exit their car to walk into the building. Masks will also need to be worn on school buses. Masks can be removed for eating and drinking.
When should I keep my student home?
Staff and students exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 and/or fever at 100F or above are not to attend school. Daily Health Check Expectations before coming to school: We encourage all employees to self assess symptoms and parents to self-assess their child(ren) for symptoms each day before entering school. If any of these symptoms are present the individual should stay home.

What if my student gets sick at school or has symptoms of COVID-19 while at school?
Any student who develops COVID-19 symptoms while at school will be quarantined in an area, other than the clinic, until a parent or guardian arrives to pick them up from school. We encourage parents to arrive for pick-up as soon as possible.
If I chose to opt-out for virtual learning, when do I have the option to return to LHS for in-person learning?
The opt-outs for virtual learning were for one semester (through 1/15/21). Virtual students will have a window to sign-up for a return to LHS in December/January.
If I return to LHS second semester, what will my schedule look like?
Your schedule will be based on space and class availability. We will do our best to meet all previous requests and/or allow you continue in the same courses.
What schedule will Career Tech students follow?
Career Tech students will follow the same T/Th (Last Name A-K) or W/Fri (Last Name L-Z) schedule based on their last names. However, if a CT Lab class requires a change due to classroom space and enrollment the student may be switched days. This information will be communicated by the teacher if the need for a change arises.
When can I get a copy of my schedule?
Due to the circumstances surrounding the 2020-21 school year, please expect high school class schedules to be released later than normal this year. Official schedules will be available on-line prior to the start of school. You will be notified of how and when to access these. After reviewing your schedule, students/parents/guardians may begin to request class changes. Please do not request changes before seeing your finalized schedule. Students and parents will have the opportunity to request schedule changes through the first two weeks of school.
