Act as a resource for families to explore opportunities and activities available in their school and community.
Market TIES to the schools and community.
Recruit and train peer volunteers.
Develop individual support plans with strategies on how to best support participants in activities.
Communicate and collaborate with activity leaders.
Evaluate everyone's experiences.

LCSD TIES Coordinator:

Your LCSD coordinator is Betsy Massie.
Betsy Massie is a special education teacher at Indian Land Elementary School. She has a masters degree in special education, is working toward National Board Certification, has received multiple grants to support her special education department, and won Teacher of the Year for the 2022-2023 school year.
