In Band, you will:
learn to read music
learn rhythm
learn how to play an instrument
go on fun trips
What do I need to provide?
You will need to purchase a method book for your instrument. The cost of a method book is $12.
You will need an instrument. You can buy a quality used or new instrument with guidance from me, rent to own through a local music company, or rent a school owned instrument. School owned instrument rental cost is very reasonable and based on free and reduced lunch status.
Any student, regardless of socio-economic status, can learn to play an instrument in the AJMS Band program.
