May 17, 2022- Congratulations to the Andrew Jackson Middle School's sixth, seventh, and eighth grade theatre students. The one-act play, Hoodie, received an excellent rating from the South Carolina Theatre Association! 29 Focus students participated in the play. Pictured is the certificate and medal that students were presented. Great job Volunteers!
May 10, 2022- Congratulations to all the students at Indian Land Elementary who participated in the Special Olympics games at their school. "I can and I will" was the motto of this year's games.
The event was sponsored by Indian Land Elementary's Special Education team and the ILES PTO. Your school is proud of you and so are we!
May 10, 2022- Congratulations to Lancaster high student Jakob Whitfield! Jakob was one of 250 National Technical Honor Society members to receive A $1000 Jon H. Poteat scholarship based on their ability to consistently exemplify the 7 attributes of NTHS - Skill, Honesty, Service, Responsibility, Scholarship, Citizenship, and Leadership.
May 3, 2022- Congratulations to the AJHS marching band for earning the Outstanding Performance Award for the 2021-2022 school year. This Outstanding Performance Award is the highest achievement for band programs in South Carolina. To earn this award, students must have demonstrated a high level of proficiency in all areas of their program. Way to go Volunteers!
January 7, 2022- Crazy socks for the win! The class also collected 4 boxes of supplies and donated 360 pairs of socks to a local shelter to help during the winter months. The newly formed ILHS Science Club will take over the fundraiser and continue to sell crazy/spirit socks the rest of the year to raise even more money to make a difference in the community. Great job Warriors!
