Background

I have proudly dedicated 19 years to the field of education, during which I served as a social studies teacher, instructional coach, and Student Council advisor. Before entering education, I spent eight years in the business world working for a credit union, which strengthened my real-world perspective and leadership skills. My enthusiasm for teaching AP Psychology ignited a fervent pursuit of knowledge and mastery in various instructional strategies, leading to significant growth in my teaching practice. I discovered how to enhance academic rigor, ultimately benefiting student development and learning outcomes. It was truly a privilege to be part of the Lancaster County School District's esteemed STEAM team for two transformative years. This experience fostered my professional growth by introducing innovative pedagogical techniques, which I now share with fellow teachers and colleagues. Currently in my fifth year as an instructional coach, I find immense joy in imparting the wealth of knowledge I have acquired over the years. My mission is to engage students through the implementation of the most effective instructional practices, ensuring that every learner reaches their fullest potential.
