About the ILIS Band
The Indian Land Intermeidate School's Warrior Band started in 2021 with the opening of the new intermediate school. Currently, we have almost 300 students who are a part of our program. Next year, we are hoping to grow the program even more and have more performance opportunities for the students. Band is an amazing opportunity for students to make new friends, develop an appreciation for music, and become lifelong learners and leaders.
Mission Statement
The band program at Indian Land Intermediate School strives to create an environment conducive to stimulating creativity and positive attitudes about the performance and enjoyment of music. Music is a true transmission of culture, and it is with this in mind, that through learning basic performance skills on an instrument, the band program attempts to develop a lifelong appreciation for the value of music.
