APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS:

The BHS Counseling Department will gladly assist you with processing scholarship applications.

You will need to share this document with the college advisor and your counselor

Keep the list below in mind when applying to scholarships:

• Please note the criteria for the majority of scholarships have been determined by outside organizations and institutions.  

• It is the responsibility of the student to meet scholarship deadlines. Waiting until the last minute may disqualify you or can forfeit your chance to be considered for the scholarship if received past the deadline. 

• If you are interested in a scholarship and meet the eligibility requirements: apply online, pick up an application from Ms. Rose, or print out an application from the Buford High School Scholarship page.

• Completely and carefully fill in all requested information.

• If transcripts are required, you can request a transcript from ScribOrder.

• If letters of recommendation are required, email your counselor after submitting this form. 

• Bring a copy of ALL awarded scholarships received (even the ones you do not plan to accept) to the BHS counseling office.
