Try these things first if you are experiencing issues with your Chromebook.
Does your chromebook turn on for a second and then turn off? It's probably it needs to be charged.
Plug your charger into the wall.
Plug the other end of the charger into your chromebook.
Check to see if the charging light comes on. (If the light doesn't come on, it's possible your charger is dead... come see me)
Feel free to use the chromebook while it's charging.
Click on the clock in the task bar, usually in the bottom right corner
Select the Settings icon
Click About Google Chrome OS, in the bottom left corner of settings pop-up window
Click Check for updates
It will either say Google Chrome is up to date or it will say updating chrome
After the update is complete, you must click on the RESTART button for the update to complete
This updates the Chromebooks software and allows everything to work as it should.
Turn off your Chromebook by pressing the power button and selecting "power off"
NOTE: simply closing the lid on your Chromebook is not the same as shutting down
Turn on your Chromebook
When Google software isn’t working properly this is a good refresh.
Logout of the Chromebook
Click the on the profile you want to remove
Click the down arrow next to the profile name
Click Remove this user
Click Remove this user again
Type in the web address: chrome://policy/
Click on the Reload Policies button in the top left corner of the page
Restart your chromebook by holding down the power button and the refresh button at the same time
Turn off your Chromebook.
Press and hold Refresh + tap Power .
When your Chromebook starts up, release Refresh .
