Hello and welcome to the Wilson High School and Wilson Elementary Band Page. 

Many parents have been asking lately if the Band Booster meetings are for Auxiliary parents as well. Somewhere along the line the idea that band was only the instrument players came along. This is incorrect. Band is a collective effort of Percussion, Woodwind instruments, Brass Instruments, Color Guard, Majorette, Danceline, Drum Major, Band Parents, Band Supporters, etc. We are all one big group and family. Thus when we announce dates and times for Band Booster Meetings, this includes parents/guardians of Instrument players and Auxiliary members.

MEETINGS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AS THEY ARE PLANNED!

Be Part of The Music Tab = A prominent band advocate by the name of Scott Lang has established a website that has a plethora of information about music and band. The website has many statistics that support the need for music in a well rounded education. There are also many videos that explain various aspects of band, music education, and its importance.

Beginner Band Tab = Information for Beginner band students in grades 5th and 6th can be found under this tab. There is also a section under this tab that has documents that pertain specifically to Beginner Band Students.
