HOMECOMING IS SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 26TH

Homecoming Ballot - Round 1 List -vote Wednesday the 20th

Homecoming Court 8 Vote will be Friday from 8-10:30 on 8/22.

Once Homecoming Court is announced, the court will need to report to Mrs. Clemons's room at 11:40 on Friday 8/22. Court and their chosen escorts will meet with her at 11:r0 on that Monday, 8/25, as well.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR HOMECOMING COURT IS AUGUST 14TH.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a senior with a 75.0 (C) average at the beginning of the school year.
Must meet the requirements for an Alabama High School Diploma.
Must be in good standing with the faculty & administration (no discipline problems, suspensions, etc.).
Must have attended Wilson School during their junior year.

DRESS:

Females will wear a dress, suit, or formal. This will be decided by majority vote by the female members of the homecoming court.

ESCORTS:

The court will decide as a group if male members of the senior class will serve as escorts OR their fathers or grandfathers.

ELECTION OF COURT:

By a virtual ballot on August 20th, seniors will vote on the senior girls who have submitted an application for homecoming court. The list will be narrowed to sixteen (16) contestants. The ballot will be sent via email.
Grades 9-12 will vote by virtual ballot for eight (8) contestants on August 22nd. The ballot will be sent via email. The top eight will be announced as soon as the results are finalized. The Homecoming Queen will be announced at half time of the homecoming game on September 26th.
