The Trailside Middle School library could not function without library minions. Each year dozens of students apply to become library helpers (Minions). They support the librarians by completing countless daily tasks and acting as a representation of the library around the school. 

Students may sign up to minion during lunch, pack time or during their resource blocks.

If you are interested in becoming a library minion, please plan to attend the interest meeting at the beginning of the school year. Listen to the announcements or check the library Schoology group for the exact date and time.

Minion responsibilities include:

• Shelving books and organizing bookshelves

• Helping the librarians decorate the library

• Delivering locker notes, posters, and messages around the school

• Retrieving books from the upstairs return bin

• Organizing the makerspace

• Cutting out bookmarks
