Instrument test-drives are a chance for you and your child to meet the Band teachers and try a few instruments to see what is the best fit for your child.
You can find the dates and signups by clicking on the signup button on this page.
All students need to complete an instrument test drive and select an instrument to have their schedule built properly.
For Percussion, students will need to complete a test-drive on mallets and on a snare drum, provided by the JML Band program. Since the size of the Percussion class is limited, students will be invited to enroll as a percussionist after all of our diagnostics have been completed.

After course selections are finalized, all families of students who selected Band 6 as their music class will be contacted via email to register for a one-on-one Instrument Test Drive. The signups will open in late March after the course selection process on StudentVue closes.
To sign up for a date and time, use the Google Calendar appointment slots signup on the page linked here. You do not need a Gmail account to sign up, but you do need a valid email address. Please arrive for your appointment with your child a few minutes early to keep our crowds small and keep the appointments on-schedule.
You'll find the time slot that works best for your family, then click the time slot. It's as simple as that!
