Meet the Team
2024-2025
2024-2025
I am excited to start my tenth year at Lovettsville Elementary School and my sixteenth year with Loudoun County Public Schools. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from American Public University and a Master’s degree from Walden University. Teaching is my passion, and I am committed to fostering a nurturing and engaging classroom.
Outside of school, I cherish spending time with my husband and two daughters, Penelope and Charley. I enjoy reading and exploring various arts and crafts projects.
I eagerly anticipate meeting the 2024-2025 first-grade students and their families. Together, let's make this school year a journey filled with growth, discovery, and fun!♥
Hello and WELCOME to first grade! I am so EXCITED to be your first grade teacher! We are going to have a GREAT year!
I am delighted about kicking off my 17th year of teaching at Lovettsville Elementary. After many years of volunteering in my children's classes, I returned to school to get my Masters of Education, with a special education endorsement from Mary Washington University. I am currently working on a second Masters with a focus on Literacy Education.
Family is very important to me. I have 3 wonderful children, 1 grandson and another grandchild on the way. When I am not at school or doing homework, you will find me spending time with my family, reading, riding my bike, and crafting.
