DECA is a club for students currently enrolled in Intro to Business and Marketing, Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Marketing Co-op/Non co-op, or Advanced Marketing.
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in Marketing, Finance, Hospitality, and Management all over the globe.
DECA offers a competition to all members at the District, State, and National level based on various marketing and business related events. Competition allows students to focus in on areas they find interesting and gain valuable experience towards their future.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)

FCCLA is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Today over 160,000 members in more than 5,400 chapters are active in a network of associations in 47 states (including the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico).
FCCLA is an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences curriculum. Because the organization is co-curricular in structure, any student, through grade twelve, who is taking or has taken a course in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) is eligible to join FCCLA.

The purpose of the investment chapter at Lightridge High School is to better educate students on economic events as well as promote the collaboration amongst students to become financially sound and understanding of the stock market.
