Staff members cannot change student passwords from home. Please call the LCPS Technology Support Center phone number at 571-252-2112 and they can help with this.
If students do happen to know their password, but would like to change it themselves, they may refer to this document.

In this case, clear the history/cache “ for all time”, log out of all applications, log into LCPS Go again, and access BrainPOP from the Library Resources folder. You may also be asked to install an extension.
Accessing BrainPOP through LCPS Go, along with other applications that work with the CLEVER log in, will log students in automatically if they click the icon one time.
Try the following before calling the helpdesk.
If clicking on a hyperdoc or google classroom link, login via LCPS Go first
Make sure student is logged in with LCPS account and not a personal Google account
Clear the cache
Clearing Chrome Browser Cache
At the top right, click the 3 dots
Click More tools, Clear browsing data
Choose a time range - All time
Check the boxes from Browsing history down to Passwords and other sign-in data
Click Clear data
Restart Device
If this does not work, you will need to give the LCPS Support Desk a call at 571-252-2112.
The links below will result in a forced log out of all Google accounts/Clever accounts on a laptop/chromebook. Clicking on these links prior to accessing applications from LCPS Go will prevent any mix-ups between student-student accounts or student-parent accounts on shared devices.
