• Step 1 - Read through the student handbook before applying. Ensure the program will be a good fit for you.

• Step 2 - Consider who you will ask to complete the recommender rating scales. You need a teacher you have recently taken a class with (in your field of interest) to fill out rating scale A. Rating scale B can be filled out by any adult who has worked closely with you in your field of interest as long as they are not related to you. This could be another teacher, a mentor, a supervisor, etc.

• Step 3 - View the Instructional Videos as you fill out your application. These programs are highly selective and have limited seats. Make sure you fill out the application completely, correctly, and to the best of your ability.

• Step 4 -  You and your recommenders will turn in all application materials directly to the SRGS point of contact at your high school before the deadline. Reach out to your point of contact if you have questions about the deadline or how to turn in your application.
