YEA! is an exciting afterschool program that transforms Loudoun middle and high school students into real, confident entrepreneurs. Through the seven-month program, students in grades 6-12 generate business ideas, conduct market research, work with individual mentors, write business plans, pitch to a panel of investors (think Shark Tank), and become ready to launch their very own companies and social movements.
The YEA! program is presented by the Loudoun Chamber Foundation and the Loudoun Economic Development Authority. LCPS is a partner as well. Please note that we are currently accepting applications for the YEA! Class of 2023. Please click on the flyers at left for more information. You can also find information on our Loudoun Chamber website as well as a list of Frequently Asked Questions.

Please see the following summer opportunity for 9yr – 13yr old students provided by our community partner Virginia Cooperative Extension. VCS provides many educational opportunities throughout Loudoun. This summer camp provides an opportunity for students to try new interests, further develop skills/interest students already have, be outside of Loudoun County and meet new friends! If you have questions, please contact Kim Monroe at (703) 777-0373.
STEM Opportunity with NASA
Guided by an educator, sixth to 12th grade student teams affiliated with U.S. public, private, and charter schools can submit ideas for experiments to test on either a suborbital rocket with about three minutes of microgravity (i.e., weightlessness) or a high-altitude balloon with exposure to Earth’s atmosphere and views of our planet.
A panel of judges will review the submitted experiment ideas and select 57 winning entries. Each winning team will receive $1,500 to build their experiment and an assigned spot to test it on a NASA-sponsored suborbital flight operated by one of the following flight providers – Blue Origin, UP Aerospace, or Raven Aerostar.
