Mrs. Oliphant graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Management. After graduating, she worked in television, coached several gymnastics teams, and worked as the library assistant at Little River Elementary School. Mrs. Oliphant completed her Master's Degree from The Catholic University of America in the area of Library and Information Science and recently obtained a graduate certificate in Digital Learning from George Mason. Mrs. Oliphant enjoys reading (especially historical fiction -- give The Amazing Race code word "READ"), playing golf, and spending time with her puppies.
Mrs. Kindler graduated from Indiana University of PA with a B.S. in English Education. She also graduated from Longwood University with a M.Ed in School Librarianship. Before coming to Freedom High School in 2025, Mrs. Kindler was a librarian at Independence HS and a 6th grade Language Arts teacher at Belmont Ridge Middle School. Mrs. Kindler loves reading (especially mystery), traveling, spending time with family and friends, riding her Peloton bike, and working on cross stich/embroidery projects.
Ms. Shomali recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Conservation and Society. She has worked in the environmental non-profit sector at the National Park Foundation and has experience teaching environmental education at the elementary level. She loves reading, crocheting, baking, spending time with her family and friends, and spending time exploring nature.
