All students participating in the Senior Capstone Experience will share their Capstone Project Presentation. This presentation will allow students the opportunity to demonstrate what they learned from the experience in an interactive and engaging way. Staff and students will be able to hear directly from seniors about the amazing experiences, accomplishments, and lessons learned. This is the final requirement of the 2024 Senior Capstone Experience. Presentation time slots will be assigned at a later date, based on students’ school schedules.
Students are encouraged to think creatively regarding this presentation element. Presentations should share the following information:
What did you set out to learn, accomplish, or produce?
Who did you work with throughout this project?
What obstacles did you encounter? How did you overcome these challenges?
What did you learn about yourself through this project?
Students should select a platform they are comfortable working with to deliver this presentation. Creativity and innovation are encouraged. Presentations should include answers and explanations to the prompts above. They should also have a visual component showing photos or videos of Capstone Experience.
Students will be expected to be at Freedom High School for a minimum of 30 minutes to give presentations to the larger Freedom community. It is expected that students have polished all elements prior to their presentation and are ready to answer questions regarding their experiences. All visuals, commentary, and content should be appropriate for our school’s environment.
