Virtual Loudoun Online (VLO) is a supplemental, asynchronous program that allows students who may need some flexiblity with their schedule to include desired electives to take one virtual class during a VLO term.
Students in grades 9-12 are permitted to take one credit of coursework per academic year for acceleration (an 8th credit during Term 1 and/or Term 2).
Student enrolling in Term 3 summer sessions for acceleration (creating space for a class in your schedule the following school year) are permitted to earn a maximum of two high school credits throughout middle school and high school, taking one virtual class per summer.
