"Spiraling Chaos" by Nikki Khanna (2024)
When you look at a building — either a towering glass skyscraper or a family-sized suburban house, you first notice its outward appearance.
Is the glass opaque? Is the skyscraper leaning? What color are the bricks? Does the house look abandoned?
But what is often unclear at first glance is its interior. Beneath the bricks, ideas are housed — some small, some big. Some contained in sleek towering glass windows, others seemingly confined inside wood-finished antiquated Corinthian columns.
The integrity of these seemingly unimportant details often dictate the character of the building. Every accent works harmoniously to create a composition that gives rise to distinctive ideas.
This magazine communicates the variety that is life. You’ll read stories about beautifully constructed poetry that communicates mundane, yet precious ideas, narratives that detail the journey of individuals on the other side of the globe, and metaphorical pieces that will leave you smiling at words.
