Breann Staples, M.Ed

(540) 967-0492 ext 3060

I will be primarily serving PK (Hardy), 1st grade, 3rd grade, & 5th grade

This is my 3rd year as a School Counselor, and I previously worked as an instructor at the Virginia Institute of Autism. I received my bachelor's degree at James Madison University and my master's degree at William & Mary!

I want students at TJES to successfully manage their lives as healthy, responsible, and productive 21st century leaders who respect themselves and others. My goal is for students to be college and career ready, lifelong learners, and able to adapt to life’s challenges in a positive and healthy manner.

Sam Burnette, M.Ed

(540) 967-0492 ext 3065

I will be primarily serving PK (Fleming), Kindergarten, 2nd grade, & 4th grade

This is my first year as a professional school counselor! The previous two years I attended Virginia Commonwealth University to further study and understand the importance of building healthy relationships with children. I value a learning environment that supports connection and having fun.

I am grateful to be joining #TeamLCPS. I anticipate this year displaying many joys AND hardships. LCPS challenged us educators to pick one word for the upcoming school year (21-22), my word is Focus.

I look forward to working alongside your family this year!
