Welcome to the first annual Mane Event 5K color run!
Join us on May 9th, 2026, at Louisa County High School for a 5K color run fundraising for the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8947!
About:
The Mane Event Color Run is a race started by students Blair Bono and Daphne Anderson through their leadership class at Louisa County High School. The purpose is to raise money for local charities in the community, and a new charity is chosen each year. The event is a color run, in which participants will run through a preplanned course and have color packets thrown at them. Runners should wear white clothing that they are okay with being permanently colored. There will be a Cub Mile for participants 10 and under, and a 5K for all ages!

Price per 5K runner: $25
Price per Cub Mile (10 & under): $15
(Included for 5K runners is a Mane Event white race T-shirt, a racing bib and a course map; Cub Mile runners will receive a racing bib, course map, and color packet)
