Director
Joe Power is a nationally recognised leader in the area of Restorative Practice training and facilitation. He has over six years’ experience working with schools, organisations and individuals, and prior to that worked 18 years in residential childcare services. He is an accredited trainer and quality specialist with CDI (Childhood Development Initiative, Tallaght) and previously was RP Development Officer with the Limerick RP Project from 2018 to 2023. He sits on the events committee with Restorative Practices Ireland and has facilitated Restorative Justice interventions as part of the Blackrock College/Spiritans Restorative Justice process. He is also currently working on a restorative community initiative in Kilrush, Co. Clare.
He offers interactive and bespoke training and believes firmly in the importance of an implementation mindset as well as the restorative values of collaboration and co-creation. The "train and pray" approach offers only a low chance of long-term success. With a small bit of implementation strategy from the outset, you will exponentially increase your chances of making the restorative change stick.
