Karl Arrieta

Karl Arrieta is an experienced drum instructor with over 25 years of teaching expertise. Born and raised in the Philippines, he quickly adapted to American culture and discovered his passion for drumming as a member of the Torrance Marching Band and Drumline.

Karl's extensive performance background includes prestigious ensembles like The Tournament of Roses Honor Band, Cal State University Northridge Matador Band, and the Kingsmen Indoor Percussion Ensemble.

He has taught high school and independent performance groups throughout Southern California, including Torrance High School, Gold Drum & Bugle Corps, Impulse Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Trooper Drum & Bugle Corps.

Karl currently teaches private percussion lessons and creates educational products from his home studio in Torrance, California, catering to students of all ages and skill levels worldwide.

Jonah Batac

Jonah is a passionate color guard instructor and performer. He has performed with the Woodbridge Entertainment Corps, Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, and the professional group, Vox Artium. Click here to view a performance.

Jonah has been teaching since 2017. Jonah loves the marching community and what it has brought to his life. “Without color guard, I literally wouldn’t live where I do and have the best friends that I have.”

Bryan Taga

Bryan has been the Visual Coach at Wilson since 2018. Marching band has been a passion of his. Byan marched trombone and euphonium in high school and continued to march Drum & Bugle Corps at Pacific Crest from 2017-2021. His teaching goal is to create a memorable and fun experience for his students and to teach the values of accountability, courage, persistence, and honor.

Gordon Henderson

Gordon is serving as the drill writer for Wilson’s 2023 season. Gordon has an incredible resume as band director and marching band/drum corps instructor, writer, and arranger. Additionally, Gordon is one of Mr. Hamilton distinguished mentors and friend! Read Gordon’s full bio HERE!
