Directions: After watching the video on Glencoe Virtual Manipulatives, choose a basic multiplication math fact (ex: 2 x 8 = 16) to model using repeated addition.
1. Write the complete multiplication equation (2 x 8 = 16).
2. Write it in word form ( 2 groups of 8).
3. Model a basic multiplication math fact using with any of the manipulatives.
4. Write the multiplication equation as repeated addition ( 8 + 8 = 16).
5. Take a screenshot of your screen.
6. Then model one more equation and a take screenshot of your screen. You will have a total of 2.
Be sure to take a screenshot of each equation by itself. The screenshots will be used on Week 4: Task 3.
