COVID Guideline Update:

COVID isolation recommendations have moved away from 5 days of isolation and instead focus on symptoms to determine when to end isolation. Students will isolate until they are fever free for 24 hours without using fever reducing medication and symptoms are mild and improving. Indoor masking is recommended for 10 days after the student becomes sick or tests positive.

PEL Staff walk our children to Breakfast daily at 8:20a. Cafeteria doors open at 8:30a.

Behavior Contract

Prisk ELO-P follows all applicable California laws and Long Beach Unified School District policies regarding student cell phone use, personal electronic devices, social media, digital communication, and student privacy. In alignment with California's Phone-Free Schools requirements and LBUSD Board Policy 5131.8, students are expected to keep personal devices powered off and stored away during program hours unless specifically authorized by staff for educational, safety, or approved program purposes. Students are also expected to engage in responsible and respectful digital behavior, including appropriate use of social media and technology, free from cyberbullying, harassment, or misuse of electronic devices.
