LEADERSHIP ROLE
As a California Partnership Academy (CPA) Coordinator, my primary role is to oversee the implementation and success of the AIMS Academy CPA program at my school. This involves collaborating with teachers, administrators, and community partners to design and deliver rigorous, industry-relevant curriculum that prepares students for post-secondary education and careers. I also work to ensure that the AIMS Academy CPA program aligns with California State Standards and meets the requirements of the California Department of Education. In addition, I coordinate work-based learning opportunities and internships for students, provide professional development and support for academy teachers, and serve as a liaison between the school and community partners. Overall, my goal as a CPA Coordinator is to provide students with a comprehensive and meaningful educational experience that prepares them for success in college, career, and beyond.
As a Pathway Lead, my role is to coordinate online submissions and action planning while facilitating team mentor participation in achieving Linked Learning pathway student outcomes. I regularly communicate with site administrators and pathway coordinators to update them on pathway progress and coordinate meetings, cross-curricular activities, and professional development. Additionally, I assist with pathway events, work with teams to analyze student-level data and develop interventions, and coordinate marketing and outreach efforts. I also collaborate with district Work-Based Learning coordinators to build and sustain advisory boards and opportunities.
