Getting a college degree can provide financial and career stability. The charts below are based on U.S. Department of Labor data. On the left, the chart shows how much you could earn based on your highest level of education. On the right, the chart shows unemployment rates based on your highest level of education.
Why does it all matter?
Well! You want your own place. Right? That costs money! Imagine showing off your first apartment on IG--wait! To do that, you'll need a phone and internet. Those cost money, too! It looks like you'll need to head to the Apple store to get the latest iPhone. Guess what? Yup! You guessed it: that costs money, too!
It costs money for Food, car insurance, gas, and electric. By getting a college degree, you'll be able to live independently. You'll be educated and have more career opportunities. You'll generate income to pay your bills, vacation, buy clothing, and much more. Most importantly, you'll set an example for your community and family.
Check out the charts below to see how it all calculates.
All numbers are based on 2025 data!
