What is your favourite, go to, comfort snack? In Mrs Everitt-Mak’s House, nachos have become the go-to snack in the past couple of weeks. They are quick, easy and yummy.

To make them, simply layer tortilla chips on a plate. Drizzle salsa over the chips and then sprinkle grated nacho cheese over them. Put the plate in the microwave and cook for 1 minute. After that, add some sour cream and enjoy. Additionally, you can add cooked ground beef or chicken strips to the nachos to make more of a meal out of them.

No salsa in the house? Here’s Mr. Mak’s Recipe for home made salsa - be aware, this makes a LOT:

Salsa:

3 cans of diced tomatoes with herbs and spices

2 tbsp Crushed Chili peppers

2 tbsp onion powder

2 tbsp garlic powder

2 tbsp dehydrated chives

1 tbsp black pepper

1 tbsp white pepper

1 tbsp hot Chili or cayenne powder

1 tbsp garlic salt

1/2 tbsp paprika


Mix all together, chill and enjoy
