In support of the electrical utility upgrade in building 70A, the Projects & Infrastructure Modernization Division is planning to perform an electrical shutdown that will have direct impacts on normal and standby power in building 70A.

Normal (utility) and emergency power in Building 70A will be shut down.
Chilled water and Low Conductivity Water in Building 70 will be shut down.
Standby power will be available to select areas only. See the 70A Critical Equipment List worksheet below for reference.
Thursday, January 15, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Normal (utility) power in Building 70 will be shut down.
Standby power will be available to select areas only. See the Temporary Power Request worksheet below for reference.
Thursday, January 22, 6:00 a.m. Building occupancy is allowed starting at 6:00 a.m.
FOR BUILDING TENANTS
All building tenants are asked to place equipment in safe and stable mode prior to the start of the outage on Friday, January 9, 7:00 a.m. Use this guidance from EHS to prepare your lab or technical area.
Building 70A will be inaccessible during the scheduled power outage, from Friday, January 9, 7:00 a.m. to Wednesday, January 21, 10:00 p.m. For emergency access, contact the Site Operations Center.
Update (delete or add) the 70A Critical Equipment List worksheet. The due date for this action is Friday, August 8. Contact your Facility Area Manager for further guidance.
