In support of the electrical utility upgrade in building 70A, the Projects & Infrastructure Modernization Division is planning to perform an electrical shutdown that will have direct impacts on normal and standby power in building 70A.

FOR BUILDING TENANTS
All building tenants are asked to place equipment in safe and stable condition prior to the start of the outage on Thursday, January 8, 7:00 a.m. Use this guidance from EHS to prepare your lab or technical area.
The buildings will be inaccesible during the power outage. Please coordinate any special or emergency access requests with your Operations Deputy. Once your Operations Deputy approves the request, contact the Site Operations Center.
Building 70A will be inaccessible during the scheduled power outage, from Thursday, January 8, 7:00 a.m. to Wednesday, January 21, 10:00 p.m. For emergency access, contact the Site Operations Center.
Building 70 will be inaccessible during the scheduled power outage on Thursday, January 15, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
