The Building 62 High Bay Renovation Project prepares the Building 62 high bay area for the upcoming B62 CXRO Clean Room Project. In addition to readying the space for the new clean room, the renovation enhances the overall resilience of Building 62 by upgrading select infrastructure systems.

Because of the magnitude of this outage, building systems must be powered down at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19. We know this could affect normal work day schedules. Please consider how much time you will need to put your equipment in safe and stable mode by 5:00 a.m. March 19 and plan accordingly.

TIMING
Thursday, March 19, 5:00 a.m. Mechanical building systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling, etc.) shut-offs begin. Building tenants should put equipment in safe and stable mode before that time and on-site personnel exit the building.
Thursday, March 19, 6:00 a.m. Electrical building systems shut-offs begin.
Thursday, March 19 - Friday, March 27 Building access is restricted.
Saturday, March 28, 6:00 a.m. Buildings re-open as normal.
FOR BUILDING TENANTS
All building tenants are asked to place equipment in safe and stable mode by 5:00 am on Thursday, March 19. Use this guidance from EHS to prepare your lab or technical area.
Standby power is available only to equipment that is already connected to e-outlets.
For emergency access, contact the Site Operations Center. Ensure all special access requests are coordinated with your Operations Deputy prior to contacting the Site Operations Center.
