Participation Guidelines & Privacy

These workshops are intentionally internal to those affiliated with Berkeley Lab to create an environment in which we hope you can all feel comfortable sharing your ideas. We’ve asked you to attach your headshot and names to your pre-work slides so we know which ideas are yours.

To encourage open communication, we expect all participants to treat the ideas presented in this workshop as private, unless they get express permission to share another person’s idea with a broader audience. As well, sharing an idea in this workshop does not preclude you from proposing it to another funding agency, foundation, or investor.

Finally, please keep in mind we're looking for long-term examples of science that could be performed 5-10 years from now in these envisioned buildings and leverage our world-class facilities, renowned scientists, and team science tradition.
