All lectures and hands-on activities will occur in Building 62 room #203 (right across from the entrance near the shuttle stop)

The following hotels are suggestions due to their proximity to Downtown Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

5. Note: The Downtown Berkeley BART stop is also very close to a LBNL shuttle stop. Hotels farther away but close to BART are another option

Getting to LBNL

LBNL is a separate laboratory from UC Berkeley campus which requires permission to enter beyond the gate.

1. You will receive the site access/shuttle pass one week before the workshop by email. If you are planning to drive to LBNL please email Suksham Barun sbarun@lbl.gov. However, parking is very limited at Lab.
2. LBNL is up on a large hill above UC Berkeley campus. The best way to get up the hill from Downtown Berkeley or UC Berkeley campus is to take a LBNL shuttle bus. Take the Orange Bus to the stop at Building 62/66 for the most direct route.
3. Please remember your parking/shuttle pass and a photo ID.
