Welcome to our storytelling class! For thousands of years humans have used stories to tell important events. Over the next thirty-six weeks, we will be exploring the stories we tell of the individuals and the societies of the land containing the United States.

Learning how to tell and deconstruct stories will help you to understand the past of our great nation and make personal connections to these events. The course is designed to boost your critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills through research, self-reflection, and writing. The course seeks to provide the basic cognitive tools necessary to address the social, emotional, and intellectual needs of seventh and eighth grade students through the study and reflection of nine overarching issues in society. The video to the left is for parents to learn how to see their child's grade in google classroom.
