Internal Exams

Any exams that are not sat in your classrooms will be sat in the main exam rooms (Big School & LRC28).  These exams are run as if they are real external exams so that students are able to experience the exam process.

Internal formal exams 2025-26

Year 10 : June 2026

Year 11 : November 2025 & March 2026

Year 13 : November 2025 & March 2026

Reminders

1. You need to ensure that you are at your exam room at least 10mins before the scheduled start time.

2. You need to line up in row order.  If your exam is in Big School (including the Stage), please line up in the Jubilee Quad and if your exam is in LRC28 line up outside the field entrance to the room.

3. Once inside the exam room, you are under exam conditions.

4. You may only bring a clear pencil case/bag and make sure you have a black pen as you must write your answers in black.

5. You may bring water in with you but it must be in a clear bottle, free from any labels.  No other drinks or food are allowed.

6. You will need to turn off your mobile phone and these must be handed in (this extends to any smartwatches too).  There will be storage spaces in all venues for you to place your phone/smartwatch.

7. You must not be wearing a watch of any kind.

8. You must also check your pockets for any other electronic device, headphones, revision notes or any other pieces of paper.  Any such items must be in your bag or handed in.

9. You must not have anything written on your hands.

10. Any programmable calculator must not have anything stored in the memory and be in exam mode.
