Certificates are important documents. Most educational institutions and potential employers will ask to see original certificates. If students lose or fail to collect them, they will need to obtain duplicates from the relevant awarding body and they will charge £40-£50 per certificate. JCQ regulations state that certificates should be kept by schools for 12 months and if they remain uncollected they may be disposed of securely. At LSS, we will keep them for 24 months before they are destroyed.
Certificates for Summer exams are received in school in November and will be available for collection from December. Students who stay onto 6th Form at LSS can collect their certificates from the Exams Office. If students are no longer at LSS, they must contact the Exams Office to make arrangements to collect them (during May & June, an appointment is essential).
If you wish to nominate someone else to collect them on your behalf, you will need to complete the form below. Your nominated person would need to bring the completed form and a form of photo ID to the main school reception.
