Dear Lawrence Families,
We had a fantastic week and an amazing field trip on the Lake and in Ohio City! I heard so many students and teachers alike sharing their experiences and already wanting to do it all again.
On the field trip IE groups competed in trivia questions about our city. The winners of the Game were Ms. Polaski’s IE accompanied by Mrs. Watson, who not only earned the most overall points, but also crushed the quick-fire challenges! Mr. Rotman’s team came in a close second. Great job to all of the teams for bringing so much energy and fun to the day.
Our 7th graders also wrapped up Romeo and Juliet in Mrs. Maust’s classroom, and we ended the week with the final LSN broadcast of the year, a sure sign that summer is getting closer!
But the fun is not over yet! There is still plenty to look forward to next week. If you notice a mysterious smell drifting through the hallways, don’t panic, it’s just our science classes dissecting frogs. Nothing says “almost summer” quite like frog dissections! We will also finish the week with Outsiders Day in Mrs. Watson’s ELA classes. Im looking forward to seeing all their costumes.
I also want to wish all our moms a Happy Mothers Day.
