Dear Lawrence Families,

What a fun week it has been in Middle School!

Spirit Week gave our students plenty of opportunities to show their personalities, from Meme Day and Sports Day to the many creative outfits we saw throughout the week. We also had a very competitive House Rock-Paper-Scissors game, complete with bead necklaces and plenty of cheering.

Tonight, students came together for our Homecoming Movie Night, and tomorrow, our High School students will get to celebrate together at the Homecoming Dance.

There has been a lot happening, but I think that is a good thing. We spend so much of our time focused on academics and the work our students are doing in the classroom. It is also important to give them opportunities to laugh together, build friendships, and simply enjoy being together.

Thank you for helping make these experiences possible for our students. I think these moments matter more than we sometimes realize.

Next week, we’ll keep the fun going with our field trip. Please make sure you have completed and submitted your permission slip to Mr. Ising. We’re looking forward to another great week!
