10/3/25
Dear Lawrence Families,
I love this time of year, warm days, cool evenings, and colorful trees. Fall is a season of transformation and we have seen great transformation and growth as we adjusted to the great change of middle school.
I am so proud as I watch our students try new electives and clubs, dive into new class projects and build friendships.
With just two weeks left in the first quarter, Students will have the chance to select their Quarter 2 electives. Now is an ideal moment for students to pause and consider how the year has started and what they want to achieve in the weeks ahead. A great opportunity to take ownership of their learning and begin shaping the path forward.
Here are a few questions to spark meaningful reflection and goal-setting:
Reflect
What assignment has helped you learn the most?
What strategies did you use to find success?
Set your Path
What skills or knowledge are you excited to develop next?
What’s one small step you could take to move toward your learning goal?
Let’s continue to encourage our students to reflect, set intentions, and take steps, big or small, toward becoming confident, curious learners. Fall reminds us that growth is always possible.
Looking Ahead
Quarter 2 elective selection will be coming soon, please watch for Ms Janamanchi’s email in the next 2 weeks.
