The Arc of Greater Haverhill-Newburyport
The Arc of Greater Haverhill–Newburyport supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families through advocacy, education, and community-based programs. Services include family support, transition planning, self-advocacy, and connections to adult service systems.
Waystone Health and Human Services
Waystone provides a wide range of services for children and adults with disabilities, including day programs, residential supports, employment services, and family resources. Their goal is to help individuals lead meaningful, independent lives in their communities.
Northeast Independent Living Program (NILP)

The Merrimack Valley Welcome Center in downtown Lawrence is a welcoming resource hub for families looking to connect with both community programs and state services. The center’s staff offer free consultations to listen, answer questions, and guide families toward the best mix of supports—whether that means referrals to local counseling, housing, or educational programs, or connections to agencies such as DDS, DMH, or MassAbility.
By partnering closely with schools, agencies, and community organizations, the Welcome Center helps make information and services more accessible—ensuring every family can find the resources they need to support their child’s transition to adulthood.
