Learn More about Testing

Each year your child will will take part in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress  (CAASPP). 

Depending on certain factors, your child will participate in one or more of the following tests:

• Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments (aka SBAC)

• California Science Test (CAST)

• California Alternative Assessments (CAA)

• English Language Proficiency Assessment for California (ELPAC)

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
