Ravina was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from UC Davis in 2019 with a degree in Comparative Literature and minors in Spanish and History. This summer, she was a law clerk for Bet Tzedek Legal Services. At Gould, Ravina is also a Peer Mentor and involved with American Constitution Society (ACS). In her free time, she loves to read, bake, and listen to cast recordings of Broadway musicals. She is so excited to meet the new SALSA members!
Sadaf is from New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University in 2019 with a degree in Economics and Political Science. She took a gap year to work as a paralegal at a business immigration law firm, and during her 1L summer she externed for a federal judge in the District of New Jersey. As a 2L, Sadaf will also be involved with the Womxn of Color Collective. In her free time, Sadaf loves to play tennis, check out new restaurants, watch soccer, and read. She can’t wait to meet new SALSA members, and is looking forward to a great year!
Kosha is from Corona, CA and graduated from UC San Diego in 2019 with a degree in International Studies. Prior to law school, she worked as a consultant in San Francisco and this past summer, she externed for a federal judge at the US District Court for the Central District of California. Kosha is also a Peer Mentor and is involved with the Business Law Society, Womxn of Color Collective, and National Lawyers Guild. In her free time, she loves spending time at the beach, exploring art museums, and checking out LA's restaurants. Kosha is looking forward to getting to know new SALSA members!
Nayar was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from Loyola Marymount University as a political science major in 2019. There, she was involved on campus by working as a research assistant for her political science professor, conducting research about global refugee populations. During her 1L summer she worked as a law clerk at Public Counsel. As a 2L, she was a peer mentor and the Outreach Chair for SALSA. This past summer she worked at Los Angeles County Counsel. She is excited to meet the class of 2024 and the new members of SALSA!
Saloni is from Gujarat, India and graduated from Nirma University, Ahmedabad in 2017 with a Bachelor in Commerce and Law. She practiced Intellectual Property litigation in the High Court of Bombay for 2.5 years before applying for a LLM. She has represented and worked with MNCs, production houses and various Bollywood celebrities during her tenure.Born to a Punjabi mother and Gujarati father, diversity is a phenomenon she has always cherished. In her free time, she loves listening to music, checking out LA's restaurants and spending time at the beach.Saloni is looking forward to getting to know all the SALSA members.
I'm from the Bay Area (Fremont, CA) originally and graduated from UC RIverside with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to law school I worked at a corporate law firm as an accountant, and I hope to work in a corporate law firm within the EC/VC space after graduation. As a 1L other than this group I have joined the Legal Technology Association as well as the Intellectual Property Legal Society. In my free time I love to play sports such as soccer and basketball, listen to podcasts, and read. I'm looking forward to a great year and hope to contribute to the development of the SALSA community.
Sonali was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from the George Washington University in 2020 with a degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Before starting law school, she worked for an immigration firm in Arlington and volunteered as an English teacher to adult immigrants. In her free time, she loves to rewatch Marvel movies, try out new restaurants, and bake.
Niki was born and raised in New Jersey, and graduated from Boston College, where she studied English and Accounting. Prior to law school, she worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and as a corporate law researcher at NYU Law School. Outside of school and work, she loves playing the drums, running marathons, and reading. Niki can't wait to get involved with SALSA this year!
Sanah was born and raised in the Bay Area. She graduated from George Washington University in 2020 where she majored in international affairs and minored in criminal justice. Before law school, she interned at a think tank in Washington D.C. and a federal law office in New Jersey. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, trying new restaurants, and attending concerts.
Sandra was born and raised in Kerala, India. She graduated with B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, India. She was admitted to practice as an attorney at the Bar of Maharashtra & Goa and worked as a Private Equity and M&A associate at Cyril Amarchand Mangaladas Suresh & Shroff Mumbai for four years. At Gould, she is very excited to be a board member of the SALSA and a member of First Generation Professionals and the Womxn of Color Collective. Sandra loves to travel, read, garden, and try out different cuisines in her free time.
Jaana is from New York. She graduated from Bowdoin College in 2019 with an A.B. in Government and Legal Studies. Before starting at Gould, Jaana worked for the Biden for President campaign in Iowa and Philadelphia, and then at a D.C.-based political consulting and advertising firm. When she’s not exploring new restaurants, Jaana is either reading, experimenting on Photoshop, listening to music, or re-watching episodes of Nathan for You. She is looking forward to meeting everyone in SALSA!
