Student Expectations

Students accepted into the Honors Program are expected to demonstrate commitment to both academic excellence and positive character.

Students will:

Academic Expectations

• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5

• Student who have F’s and D’s will be placed on Academic Probation

• Complete all assignments and projects on time

• Demonstrate consistent effort and participation in class

• Maintain satisfactory grades in all classes

• Take responsibility for seeking help when needed

• Participate in advanced coursework and enrichment activities

Behavior and Character Expectations

• Demonstrate respectful and responsible behavior

• Serve as positive role models for peers

• Follow all schoolwide expectations and policies

• Display integrity and academic honesty

• Demonstrate perseverance when faced with challenges

Engagement Expectations

• Participate in school activities, leadership opportunities, or service projects

• Attend required Honors meetings, events, or workshops

• Maintain regular school attendance and punctuality
