Making Dreams a Reality: Apply Now for the 2023-24 BSAP Innovation Capacity-Building Grant
Have you ever had an innovative idea to support Black students at your school but lacked the funding to implement it? We have exciting news! The 2023-24 BSAP Innovation Capacity-Building (ICB) Grant is now open for applications, allowing LAUSD school communities to bring transformational ideas to improve outcomes for Black students.
The ICB Grant funds school sites, departments, grade levels, classrooms, and student support staff across LAUSD. The goal is to fund initiatives aligned with the LCAP 7.1 - 7.5, LCAP Aligned Expenditure Examples, and the BSAP Tenets that boost Black student achievement, provide social-emotional and cultural support, and promote racial equity. From personalized interventions and identity-affirming spaces to culturally responsive pedagogy professional development and mentorship programs - if you can dream it, this grant can fund it!
