Activity 1: Explore Living Things

What does it mean to be living? What do all animals and plants need to survive?

To be living it means to breath, grow, consume, reproduce, and excrete. Plants and animals need  air and water to survive.

Activity 2: Structure and Function

How does an animal's structure help it function, survive, grow and live? 

The orcas structure helps it function by helping it balance, swim etc. It helps it survive by swimming fast. It helps it live by being able to swim correctly and catch prey.

Teeth Structure :

This day we were learning about herbivore, carnivore, and omnivore.


Leaf Structure:

We learned about decodious and coniferous leaves.

Foot Structure:

The foot structure is made out of bones and used for moving and running.

Plant Structure:

The roots help the plant grow alot help and leafs spend water everywhere. 

Activity 3: Systems

How does an organism’s structures relate to its systems and functions?

A living organism has different structure to help it survive. Each structure has a different function for the organism's survival.
