Our Central Library in downtown LA is not only an incredible resource for books and information services, but it's also gorgeous! Built in 1926, the building and it's surrounding fountains are a treat to explore. Be sure to check out their extensive services and events here .

This is a wonderful public library within walking distance of Nightingale. Besides a great selection of books, they also offer events and services. For example, they have "Book Bundles To Go" and the "Student Zone" for homework help . For further information, check out their website here.

Did you know that every LAUSD student has a library card automatically assigned to them? It’s called a Student Success Card.
You can search for ebooks and audiobooks on the Los Angeles Public Library website for teens and kids. Once you find the book you want, click “Borrow” or “Place A Hold.” It will ask for your card number and PIN to access the book.
Can’t find your card? No problem! You can ask your teacher or click here to retrieve your information and get started.
