Sports Data is a great place to start analysis.
Samples of SEP 4 are below
(the tool)
Students analyzed grams in each box
This student did a great job of explaining the data that was collected (Description) . It is so important to set the stage and explain the data itself.
Standard 4 Sample that needs table headings, sentences about the data and and inference. Since Vela scored more goals, what can we know or infer about him?
YES!! Limitations. These students thought about the sources of error. The included that Vela might have had the ball passed to him more. This could have affected the data. Other limitations might exist. Did Rossi get as many minutes on the field as Vela? Did Vela's penalty kicks, after constantly getting targeted from other teams, increase his opportunities to score? Students need to identify problems that might have affected the data collection.
When analyzing data it is important to reread your work to make sure that you are saying something meaningful. This student does not have a reason to talk about these numbers.
