Aerial Hoop ( Ms. Hallett does Aerial Hoop which is a hobby where she dances from a hanging, steel, hoop ).

Henry Ford was born on July 30, 1863 in Greenfield, Michigan, and died on April 7, 1947, in Dearborn, Michigan. Henry Ford was a businessman and an inventor. He was best known as the Founder of the Ford Motor Company, which is one of the largest producers of cars and has brands like Ford, Lincoln, and Land Rover.
He helped develop the assembly line for mass production. An assembly line is where a large number of products are made one step at a time as they pass down a line. An assembly line can produce cars at a cheaper price than building an entire product at once. Model T Ford was the first car made using the assembly line process. It was very cheap, easy to drive and easy to repair. Over 50% of the cars in America were Model Ts in 1918.
Henry had worked as an engineer at the Edison Illumination Company, where he met Thomas Edison. He was also a race car driver early in his career. You can keep finding more facts about Henry Ford on Google.

Stephen Hawking was born in Oxford, United kingdom on January 8,1942, the 300th anniversary of the death of the famous scientist Galileo. He has been married twice and has three children. He died on March 14,2018.
Stephen is a scientist and astrophysicist. His research focuses on black holes and space time theories. He was a famous expert on relativity and black holes. He was best known for Hawking radiation, which is the radiation that emits from black holes. He wrote the book "A Brief History of Time". This book covered modern subjects on cosmology such as the big bang and black holes. He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009. He hoped to travel to space one day and trained with NASA on their zero gravity aircraft.
Stephen had been on several TV shows including "The Simpsons" and the "Big Bang Theory". Hawking has co-written several children's books with his daughter Lucy including "George's Cosmic Treasure Hunt" and "George and the Big Bang". You can search for more facts about Stephen Hawking on kiddle.

Nelson Mandela was born on July 18, 1918 in Mvezo South Africa, and died on December 5, 2013 at Johannesburg in South Africa. Nelson Mandela was a civil rights leader in South Africa.
Nelson Mandela was best known for serving 27 years in prison as a protest against apartheid. Nelson Mandela became a leader in the African National Congress. He pushed hard for the congress and the protesters to follow Mohandas Gandhi's non-violence approach. He doubt that this approach would work, so he planned to bomb certain buildings. Then he was classified as a terrorist by the South African government and sent to prison in 1963. Nelson spent 27 years in prison, and his prison sentence brought international visibility to the anti-apartheid movement. He was finally released in 1990.
Nelson was awarded the Nobel peace prize on 1993. Once released from prison, Nelson continued his campaign to end apartheid. His hard work allowed all races to vote in the 1994 election in South Africa, and Nelson Mendela became president of South Africa.

Hellen Keller is a activist. She was born on June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama and died on June 1, 1968 in Arcan Ridge, Conneticut. She was best known for accomplishing much despite being both deaf and blind.
She grew up on her family's large farm called Ivy Green. Around one and a half years old, she became very sick with a high fever and a bad headache for several days. After that, she had lost both her sight and her hearing. She learned how to write form Annie Sullivan. The first word she wrote was doll. Annie also taught Hellen to read and talk. When she was sixteen, she went to Radcliffe College for women in Massachusetts. Annie attended school with her and helped to sign the lectures into Helen's hand. Helen graduated from Radcliffe in 1904 with honors. She published two books, The Story of My Life and The World I Live In.
She joined the American Foundation for the Blind and traveled the country giving speeches and raising money for the foundation. Helen spent much of her life working to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities, especially the deaf and the blind.
